WHAT
TO BRING
- Special gear for elective (if required)
- Pillow & pillowcase, single sheet (fitted is best) and sleepingbag
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Towel, soap, facecloth, shampoo etc
- Any medication that you need while at camp (Handed to Camp Nurse on arrival)
- Some warm clothes
- Some shorts & T-shirts, clothes for beach (no water play at beach)
- Socks and underwear
- PJ's
- Warm Jacket
- Sunhat and warm hat
- Hairbrush and hairties if your hair needs it!
- Good walking shoes/boots
- Shoes that are easy to take on and off (scuffs, crocs or jandals are good)
- (Sending older clothes is a good idea!! Some activities can get a bit messy)
- (Please name all clothing/bedding, & send a plastic bag for dirty stuff)
BRING
IF YOU LIKE :)
- Torch
- Notebook and pen
- Bible (named)
- Something quiet to do in free time if you like that kind of thing (eg, colouring/puzzle book, book to read, NO GADGETS!! etc)
- Sunglasses
WHAT
NOT TO BRING
- Cellphone (Junior & Senior leaders will be allowed limited access to theirs)
- Money – there is nowhere to spend it and it can get lost (canteen money is included in camp fees)
- Ipods, MP3's, or any other gadgets
- Own first aid gear – we will have a nurse and full first aid gear. It is important that we know what is being given out.
- Camera – we have a camp photographer and DVDs with photos and video on are FREE for all campers. Cameras can easily be lost or damaged.
Remember learning how to do a task or craft with others near your age that were perfect strangers? You learned a lot more than how to make a lanyard or sand casting. camp
